It's your shot...
The Break
- Break from anywhere behind the baulk line.
- If you pot multiple balls off the break, select your set and continue.
- If you foul off the break (miss all the balls or pot the white) your opponent receives 2 shots.
Fouls
- A foul will give your opponent two shots. This is achieved by:
- missing all balls from a shot,
- potting the white,
- hitting an opponent’s ball directly with the white, or
- touching any ball with your person.
- When the white is potted, place it anywhere behind the baulk line and shoot in any direction.
- 2 shots are carried over onto the black.
- A foul on the black (other than in-off) is not an immediate loss, it gives the opponent 2 shots.
- If you make a foul and snooker your opponent (where they can’t hit both sides of any of their balls) in the same shot, it is considered a foul snooker.
Foul Snooker
- If you are foul snookered, you receive 2 shots as per a normal foul
- To get out of the snooker, you can nominate any ball on the table to hit with the white ball.
- If you pot the nominated ball, your 2 shots continue.
- If you miss the nominated ball, you have 1 shot remaining.
- You will lose the frame if you nominate the 8 ball and pot it.
General Play
- You can’t purposely make a ball leave the table.
- Play with clean hands.
- No drinks on or over table.
- Don’t be a douche.
- Have fun.
